Professional and friendly service has always been a staple at Gates Pharmacy. Our goal is to maintain an honest and trusting relationship with all of our patients, their families, and the medical community of the greater Mount Airy region. We also give back to our community on a regular basis by volunteering our time and resources for many charitable organizations in our area.

Neil Edlen, PharmD
Owner, Pharmacist
Neil Edlen, PharmD, is the owner of Gates Pharmacy. He graduated from the University of Florida School of Pharmacy in 2005, where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He first started working in independent pharmacy in his hometown of Eustis, FL during high school, and his dream of owning his own store became a reality in 2012.
His goal is to continue the work of the pharmacy’s founder, Barry Gates, by providing high quality care in a professional, welcoming environment. Neil is an active member of the National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA) and is immunization certified through APhA, and is an avid Florida Gators fan!
